Barbon, a name composed of the first three letters of both the first and last name of the founder, Barbara Bonfiglio, was established in 2019.

Barbara started making chocolate out of cacao powder during the winter of 2018, originally to satisfy her sense of curiosity and as a personal challenge. Perfectionist at heart and in all she undertakes, she deepened her knowledge of the craft and quickly understood that the real process of chocolate making, from the bean to the bar, was much more complex and demanding. In other words, everything she loves… So she threw herself into the relentless search for the perfect beans, always staying true to her tastes to offer only the kinds of products she would personally enjoy.

Barbon chocolates are the result of many months of tests. The goal is to provide noble and high-end products to real chocolate lovers, and stand out for their rarity and excellence, from the quality of the chocolate to the finesse of the packaging. One must say that Barbara excels in much more than the world of chocolate. You might already know her for her musical talents: Misstress Barbara is an internationally known DJ, producer, singer-songwriter and performer who, above all, loves the small and tasty pleasures of life.

Barbon chocolates are all handcrafted chocolate bars, made from fair trade, organic, single-origin cacao beans. Produced in very limited quantities, they are all very low in sugar, are 100% vegan, and contain no dairy, gluten, soy, nuts, additives, preservatives, emulsifiers or artificial flavours. And because Barbon cares about the environment, its classy and high-quality packaging are also 100% recyclable.
